Hello!

I’m Bri. I’m a Florida girl who came to the big bad city (Cincinnati, Ohio) to have a glamorous culture-filled life, with street food, museums and of course, Ikea.

I was a children’s bookseller 2000-2010 in Florida, and I started my blog  in 2007 to share my love of kidlit. I have a Bachelor’s in English and a Masters in Communications from Florida State University.  I’m a full-time freelance writer and marketing professional. BriMeetsBooks.com is undergoing a bit of rebranding and I’m very excited.

When I am not writing or blogging, I am probably scouring the internet and antique shows for my My Little Pony and Baby-Sitters Club collections.  Vintage things, especially midcentury modern  or art deco pieces thrill my heart.  I love French music…though I don’t know a lick of French.
